It's been a rocky road, but my sequel to A Murder of Crowes has arrived. I must say, I'm torn between which book cover I like better but I think I'm partial to the latest one.
This book was not easy for me to write. With my baby now a toddler, and with other projects in the works, I had a hard time finding time and motivation to sit down and write this thing. I love Jack Crossmoor, and the first book was so much fun to write (as my first shot at creative writing), but my head is full of stories and not all of them are urban fantasy.
Luckily, in the final stretch I found a well of motivation that pushed me through to the end and it felt pretty effortless to get the final third of the book done. I will say I am very proud of the story, and I think it is a fast-paced, fun romp of a story that doesn't take itself too seriously and is an easy read. I hope you will check it out!
